Titanium Grade 2 Sheets and Plates are fabricated from commercially pure titanium, generally comprising 99.2% titanium together with small quantities of iron (0.3%), oxygen (0.25%), carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen. They deliver an excellent combination of moderate strength, ductility, and weldability. The mechanical properties feature a tensile strength of roughly 344 MPa, yield strength of 275 MPa, and an elongation of approximately 20%. Owing to their low density of 4.51 g/cm³, they are ideal for uses that demand a high strength-to-weight ratio. Their remarkable resistance to corrosion, especially in oxidizing and aqueous conditions, renders them exceptionally versatile.
