Hastelloy Foils are nickel-based alloys composed mainly of Nickel (about 58–70%) , Molybdenum (15–30%) , and Chromium (14–22%) , with small quantities of Iron, Cobalt, Tungsten, and Manganese . This distinctive combination delivers outstanding resistance to oxidation, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking. The foils feature a tensile strength of roughly 690–785 MPa and a yield strength of around 275–355 MPa , together with good ductility and thermal stability, which makes them well suited for both high-temperature and highly corrosive environments.
